It has been announced that Ruth Scott, author of Between Living and Dying: Reflections from the Edge of Experience has died.

Ruth Scott was an Anglican priest, author and broadcaster who travelled widely, particularly to the Middle East and Northern Ireland where she was involved in exploring the dynamics and complexities of transformative relationships across conflict divides.

People will have known her as a regular presenter of ‘Pause for Thought’ on BBC Radio 2’s ‘Wake up to Wogan’.  An experienced radio broadcaster, Ruth wrote and presented a number of programmes for BBC World Service,  she appeared with Aled Jones on ‘Good Morning Sunday’, provided dramatic monologues for Radio 4, and presented ‘Pause for Thought’ with Chris Evans on Radio 2.

Our thoughts are with her family at this time.
