Media Editor of the New Musical Express (NME) in the 80s, Stuart has more than 20 years involvement with Channel 4, multiple arts and business development roles and is author of a trilogy of books on Sixties Soul Music and Social Change.

Former A&R manager John Niven’s first book ‘Music from the Big Pink’, a fictional novella set in the world around Bob Dylan and the Band in Woodstock was critically acclaimed. His cult satire on the music industry ‘Kill Your Friends’ was longlisted for the Desmond Elliot Award.

Together, they discuss the music that has influenced their work and their lives.
