Polly Pullar and Mary Low

Polly Pullar has worked as a wildlife guide, wildlife rehabilitator, sheep farmer and field naturalist. She has written a number of wildlife books and is also widely known as a photo-journalist. She lives in Aberfeldy.

Mary Low is a writer and independent scholar. She grew up at the foot of the Pentland Hills on the outskirts of Edinburgh and has a long-standing interest in beliefs and traditions as well as in the natural world. She is a Divinity graduate of Edinburgh University and former post-doctoral fellow in Celtic and Scottish Studies. Her other works include Celtic Christianity and Nature, St Cuthbert’s Way and Cherish the Earth. She lives near Melrose in the Scottish Borders.
