We are very pleased to announce that Malachy Tallack and Katie Scott have won the Edward Stanford Illustrated Travel Writing Awards for The Un-Discovered Islands: An Archipelago of Myths, Mysteries, Phantoms and Fakes.

The awards ceremony took place last night at The Pillar Hall in London. Malachy and Katie were up against An Atlas of Countries That Don't Exist by Nick Middleton; Britain's Tudor Maps: County by County by John Speed; Explorers' Sketchbooks by Huw Lewis-Jones & Kari Herbert; This Land by Roly Smith & Joe Cornish and The Travel Book by Lonely Planet.

Launched in 2015, the Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards seek to celebrate the best travel writing, and travel writers, in the world.
