Bruce Bishop worked as a meteorologist for 20 years, in various parts of the UK and overseas, and spent 25 years as a music teacher at Gordonstoun School, while simultaneously running a large private teaching practice and working as a music examiner, before going on to work as a freelance Local History Researcher. He lives in Elgin.
