The Last Full Measure is the story of the epic struggle between two of the greatest men in American history - Robert E Lee and Ulysees S Grant. Through 1864 and the early months of 1865, as the Confederacy lay slowly dying, it was only the genius of Lee that kept the last dim flickers of hope alive.
