Tom Pow

Born in Edinburgh in 1950. University of St Andrews. Taught in Edinburgh, London and Madrid before settling in Dumfries. Taught for many years in Dumfries Academy, where JM Barrie went to school, before taking up post as Head of Creative and Cultural Studies at the University of Glasgow Crichton Campus, Dumfries. Latterly, Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing and Storytelling. Now Honorary Senior Research Fellow for GU Dumfries and part-time lecturer on Lancaster University's distance learning Masters in Creative Writing. Dumfries www.tompow.co.uk
