 Mark Tuohy
Mark Tuohy’s first novel, The Tide, was published in May 2005. A poignant tale of a vulnerable young man coming to terms with the world around him, the book is at turns both sad and very funny. The Tide was particularly well received by reviewers in Ireland, where the second half of the novel is set, and in Scotland.
Mark has written several radio plays and worked on a radio “soap” (or “continuing drama series” as the BBC now prefers to call them!) for a year. Whilst putting the finishing touches to his second novel, Nightime, Mark has already embarked on his third. Along the way Mark’s also had a lot of real jobs, most recently working for a charity in Hounslow. |
