Diane Morgan

Diane Morgan, was born in Aberdeen and educated at Aberdeen University and Girton College, Cambridge where she read the Law Tripos. She has taught law at what is now RGU, freelanced for national and local media and in 1974 founded Aberdeen’s quality monthly, Leopard Magazine, selling the title in 1988. She has written five histories in the award winning Villages of Aberdeen series, a work on the granite industry, contributed to Aberdeen Civic Society’s study of the architect Archibald Simpson, and produced two volumes in the Lost Aberdeen series. She is currently working on a history of Union Street, Aberdeen’s main thoroughfare.
