David Johnson


David Johnson is one of Scotland’s leading musicologists. His career in music has included teaching, journalism and management, as well as frequent concert performances as a cellist. His writings include Music and Society in Lowland Scotland, and numerous articles in Grove’s Dictionary. He is editor of various anthologies, and has composed more than 50 works.
