Alan Rough, Ewen Cameron

Alan Rough is one of Scotland’s best known and best loved former footballers. A keeper with Partick Thistle, he made his debut at the end of season 1969-70 and went on to play a club record 624 games; before he joined Hibernian in 1982. Roughy went to three World Cup finals tournaments with Scotland in an international career that saw him play 53 times for his country – keeping 16 clean sheets in the process. His autobiography My Story: The Rough with the Smooth was published in paperback in June 2007.

Ewen Cameron worked in Dubai for 15 years at Radio Star before he moved back to Scotland in 2002 for the launch of Real Radio. As Sports Editor he reported on the sporting issues of the day but from 2004 he became the second half of Ewen and Roughy on the Real Football Phone-In and now often makes the news with his outspoken and no-nonsense opinions on the beautiful game. Together Ewen and Roughy have developed the show into a ‘must listen’ for Scottish football fans.
